Heroes and Audibles

Finding sunshine in an otherwise dreary Thursday

Here we are another gray gloomy day in New Jersey. My hands are screaming at me and for some reason my right hip decided to go bad yesterday. It's strange because it's been my left hip for as long as I can remember. Apparently, somebody heard my prayer and stuck a screwdriver in my right ear at some point in the night as well. I could go on, but I'm getting pretty bored with this shit already. I don't know about you.

I did a pretty good job staying off of social media yesterday. I did zero doom scrolling. I did go on to respond to a couple of notifications from family. My dad was a hero, again!! He and my stepmom were at a preseason game in Florida and a bat came flying at them over the net and my dad, my spry 82 year old dad caught the bat with one hand. There's an article with a headline saying, "Fans Avoid Injury…" My dad, the hero, again.

He was a high school teacher of English and Latin. He also coached high school baseball and football. It was impossible for a long time to go anywhere with him and not hear, "Hey, Mr. Hutch!" Whoever it was always told me what an awesome teacher my dad was and how lucky I was to have him as a dad. After they walked away, my dad told me about them. Each and every single one. He remembered them all, when he had them in class or when he coached them. How he had helped them or how they had impacted his life. I always hope they knew that they impacted his life as much as he impacted theirs.

Sorry, had to give Dad a shout out. I did go on social media to give the page a boost. I'm doing the same today. I did peruse the headlines and read the news. Of course, it's the BBC and NPR, so I'm still missing a lot of what's going on inside the United States. I'm taking another day off from doom scrolling on Threads and BlueSky. I'm writing to Tom Waits.

Where does this leave you, Radical Readers? Oh, I haven't forgotten you. Today, I will tell you a cautionary tale of sorts. It's based on a theme I tried to write into one of my novels, but it is just too fantastical to fit the story. I feel it would serve a better purpose elsewhere. I thought here would be a good start.

The following story is written to be satire. If you don't like it, you fuck all the way off. Once you stop fucking off, you can suck a dick.

That was at 8:45am; it is now 8:45pm, and I am calling an audible. I got distracted……….really distracted. I made tomato sauce with veggies and sausauge and cooked the rigatoni for baked rigatoni for dinner tonight, did laundry, scooped litter, showered. I mean I was busy today. Now, Willy is home so there is true crime and his quiet snoring in the background. The only thing that will wake him would be me changing the channel. True crime it is.

So, there will be no cautionary tale. You will not be hearing about the "fantastical turn" quite yet. Soon, my Radical Readers, soon. I will start working on it for you right quick. Be nice to your pets.

While I was making tomato sauce my mom and I talked and she informed that the puppy killer has been transferred to a different department today. I said, "Oh no, this is what happens when you stay away from the news and social media!" My mom informed me it was okay as it had just happened. I did feel better.

Now, a new position has been designated for her, Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas. I like to picture it in basement somewhere and Chumpy Chomo taking her stapler as he sees himself out of her new office.

I wonder if her boyfriend is getting transferred with her? I'm going to assume not. I'm pretty sure that twatzi cunt is about to find out that the incontinent imbecile may be able to pull off stunts like that, but a lowly gutter snipe like her isn't going to get away with bullshit like that.

I am convinced we are not going to see anyone really close in this cabinet get fired. I think there is too much dirty money and blackmail going on. Everyone is licking asshat's boots however and whenever they are told. They can't be fired completely for anyone's safety. Rubio, Miller, Hegseth, Bondi, Leavitt , etc. They aren't going anywhere. They know too much. They work for the criminal-in-chief or they end up having an "accident" or like that scum in prison who supposedly killed himself, when we all know he was murdered. They knew what they were getting into. They are grown adults and they were when they got into business with a con man. With a known criminal.

Did they get grifted? I'd believe it about Noem, she's not exactly the brightest brightest kernel in the turd.

Are they evil? One word: Bondi

I've seen the oversight hearings. I've heard them talk. I've watched them talk. You learn so much more when you watch a person talk in addition to listening to them. I learned that from working with dogs and from my dog, Isabel. Dogs communicate with every part of their face and their body. So do people.

Watch these people talk when they talk. I mean really watch them. Pay attention to their mannerisms. What do they tell you? Try watching them without the sound on. That can be a game changer. Watching these politicians, any of them really, talk with the sound off, can tell you a lot about them.

I have said it before and I will say it again. This cabinet is the exactly what happens when you repeal DEI. We go back to hiring based solely on the color of someone's skin. We no longer hire based on merit. Now we have Chumpy Chomo and his incompetent crew of chowderheads running what used to be the free world.
